Protoclone is Clone Robotics’ radically biomimetic humanoid robot. Rather than using electric motors, Protoclone is actuated by hundreds of artificial muscle fibers (“Myofibers”) that contract like human muscles, with a polymer skeleton, vascular fluid system, and skin. Protoclone is positioned as a long-term play to replicate human anatomy. Clone is taking pre-orders for the Clone Alpha consumer model.
